Hello all & happy June! Today I visited and wandered on this picture perfect day along with heavenly cool breezes to historic Washington Crossing State Park in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania in beautiful Bucks County, famed for its history, farms and countryside and colonial architecture that dates back to the American Revolution! 🇺🇸 Took a guided tour of the grounds and had the opportunity to take some great photos and learn about the history of George Washington and the Continental Army when they crossed the Delaware to defeat the Hessians (British) army to win the war and claim freedom and independence. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and gave us a wonderful glimpse into a past of fighting for a equal future!
I highly recommend visiting this historic destination when you are visiting Bucks County or even if you’re just passing through and are looking for something to do on a beautiful sunny day like this today!! 🤩☀️☀️
It was my first time and I’ll definitely be back!
Be sure to go straight to the visitors center to purchase your tickets for your tour then. They run from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm in season 7 days a week.
