Experienced in January 2018
Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. Here’s to a brand new year and a start to new chapters! Sorry it’s been a while since my last post, the holidays are a busy and crazy time especially since I began working and finishing up studies last semester. The weather has definitely begun to cool down and we already had our first snowfall and even our first snowstorm of the season. Winter has its perks, wearing hoodies and sweaters and bundling up with hot chocolate in hand, but definitely the cons since going out with snow around can get a little tricky but I’ve seen snow every winter! Anyways, this blog post is my first of the new year and I thought it would be nice to begin with a cafè aesthetic. Yesterday, I visited this quaint French coffee, boulangerie, and patisserie shoppe called “Choc O’ Pain” in downtown Hoboken, New Jersey. It’s nestled in the narrow streets of historic Hoboken near First Street and Park Avenue, steps away from the main area of Washington Street, lined with shops, restaurants, offices, and apartments. It kinda reminded of Greenwich Village and SoHo right across the Hudson in Manhattan. It had that kinda vibe. This place originated right in Hoboken by French owners in 2009 and opened up their first location and others in neighboring Jersey City in January of 2012 and spring of 2013. I tried the iced latte which was amazing and their apple pastry which was delicious! Definite recommendation if you’re looking for a great French cafè right in Hoboken! ☕️🇫🇷

Once you step inside, you feel transported to a small Parisian cafè! Will definitely visit again!
Until next time! 😉
