Pennsylvania Autumn π
Hey guys! I'm sorry that I have taken quite a while to put another blog post, I've been very busy with my academics among other things and preparation for college. Can't believe it's fall and Halloween is only weeks away! Anyway, what I wanted to share with you all today was my previous day trip to Peddler's Village in Pennsylvania about a week ago. I went there for the day as a little excursion out of my area to take a glimpse of fall foliage and of course to enjoy the crisp autumn air whilst walking around and browsing various stores and eateries. Welcome to Peddler's Village!
Peddler's Village is a quaint little shopping area about an hour and a half away from the New York City and Philadelphia area meeting at about halfway between them. Five miles south of New Hope in the small town of Lahaska in beautiful Bucks County, its the quintessential autumn splendor in the northeast that everyone is looking for! The entire property is filled with an abundance of natural surroundings and water spots ideal for picture taking especially on the day that I went with absolutely no clouds in the sky. The whole thing is set in a 19th century atmosphere making believe you are stepping back into a small village from 1800s Pennsylvania!
Awesome photo op! The key to good photography is good light!
This famous eatery is known for having the "best burger" in Bucks County! I unfortunately never got the chance to eat there since it was always packed. Fortunately, I ate at another great find called Earl's New American across the street and had a great lunch there!
Loved the architecture!
Autumn is amazing!
This interesting store allows you to discover the history of your last name! It's not genealogy so you won't find out who your ancestors are but there is a good chance that you'll find a name. Maybe you'll find yours!
There was also a big scarecrow contest going on! Every store had their own decorated scarecrow in a particular style/theme and a number on it to vote them and see who wins!
This was perhaps the most amazing photo op I took!
Everything is decorated!
Countless photo ops!
A little bit of Paris in Pennsylvania!
Until next time!
