New York At Christmas
Hey guys! It looks like it's that time of year again, the time for everyone to come together as one to celebrate the joyous holiday season. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas and New Year's are my favorite holidays because we feel close to one another and everything feels happy with a smile on everyone's face. We end the year on a good note and begin anew with the new year. This photo was taken right in the heart of New York's Rockefeller Center during a school field trip, the Senior Banquet! New York is definitely ready for the holidays with its beautiful lights, ornate decorations, and everyone in crowds anxious to see the tree. The tree was actually lit up this week so it was nice to see it a couple days later in the daytime. Despite it not sparkling in the day, it was still a sight to behold. A spectacular tall Christmas tree that symbolizes the holiday season in Manhattan and all around the world! I tried to take as many photos of it as possible without getting someone in the picture. Luckily, it turned out well!
This building is the staple of Rockefeller built by Mr. Rockefeller himself back in the olden days. Many famous shows and offices call this place home. You may know the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon or Late Night With Seth Meyers or the tv show 30 Rock or even the incredible Saturday Night Live! All of which are amazing shows to watch! You can catch them on Netflix or any streaming network you may have. Just looking up takes your breath away!
And did I tell you I also saw Christmas Spectacular starring the amazing Rockettes? Well I did! As part of the Senior Banquet, which was the name of my school trip, I also saw that show as well accompanied by friends. Unfortunately, no pictures or video of any kind are allowed inside the theatres during the peformance, but that didn't stop me from taking pics of the lobby!
As you walk in the golden doors, you instantly glimpse the grand chandelier in the center of the lobby. It's definitely a marvel!
Looking up! Gotta love New York at Christmastime!
Until next time! 😉
