Sep 18 The Amalfi Coast

Hey guys! Sorry that I've taken so long to put a new blog post..I've been very busy with my academics. Happy September by the way, autumn is just around the corner! In this post, I'll be taking a different direction from Paris down to the Mediterranean coast to the beautiful Amalfi Coast in southern Italy! I ventured to this incredible area more than a year ago in the summer of 2015 following my trip visiting family and exploring this beautiful country. Like Paris, I stayed in Italy for two weeks and took a weekend trip with family to the Amalfi Coast since I've never been there before. Hope you all enjoy it!

This phenomenonal photo op was taken from the private bus we were taking to our hotel in Sorrento. The steep coastline plummeting to the shimmering blue water and the mountains towering above. It's literally the ideal 360° panoramic view!

This photo is one of my favorites! You could take a glimpse of the Mediterranean and the cruise ship leaving port in the distance. Down below lies a small tight street and to the left and street lie beautiful ancient buildings and a quintessential Italian terrace covered in vines adorned with ornate tables.

Loved this view looking onto the Mediterranean Sea and the mysterious Mount Vesuvius in the distance.

The sunsets on the Amalfi Coast are just phenomenal!

This was taken the next morning before departing on a ferry that would take us to the beautiful towns of Positano and Amalfi! There were absolutely no clouds in sight!
