Hello everyone & happy Thursday to you all! We’ve almost made it to Memorial Day Weekend, the official start of the summer season! Looking forward to warm days of sunshine and days at the beach, at the park, just enjoying the outdoors since there’s only a handful of times you can if you live in the Northeast on the east coast (you know what I mean 😉) Summer here we come! ☀️🤩
Today’s post details my most recent visit to the charming historic city of Hoboken, New Jersey (which I actually just went to yesterday and spent most of the afternoon and early evening) that is situated along the mighty Hudson River in Hudson County, conveniently across from bustling and gleaming Manhattan.
MEANDERING HOBOKEN
• Hoboken is a city that I absolutely love and adore to this day since childhood! I’ve been visiting and coming to this incredible place since the age of 3. From the quaint shops, boutiques, and gourmet restaurants and delicious eats and finds of Washington Street which literally runs through the entire 2 square miles of the city from its north end at 14th Street until 1st Street by the train station, to the tree-lined streets of Garden & Bloomfield, & Hudson to name a few where rows of classic architectural gems that are brownstones dot the scenes with their famous staircases leading up to the sophisticated entryway of a historic property from the old to the new, to the famous Frank Sinatra Drive which runs along the eastern section of the city along the Hudson offering spectacular views of New York City and the rest of the tri-state area beyond. Boats, yachts, parks, piers, restaurants, a five-star hotel, apartments and condominiums, and a few nightclubs light the way.
Here is a fine example of a classic Hoboken brownstone located on Garden Street! Love the details and architectural elements of the property!
Famous and well-known place for gourmet delights and a culinary palate for brunch!
Setting up for MDW! 🇺🇸
Until next time! 😉
