Today I explored charming Historic Huguenot Street in the eclectic town of New Paltz, New York in the Catskills, a region I’ve finally visited for the first time! It’s located about an hour and a half north of the New York City Metropolitan Area where you seemingly feel transported to a land of green as far as the eye can see from green fields and pastures to the pine trees and forests that scatter the region to the towering hills and mountains that lie in the distances beyond! Love the Catskills!! Historic Huguenot Street offers us a glimpse into the past of Native Americans and Early European settlers that inhabited the area ages ago! The town of New Paltz is an eclectic and hopping place chock full of shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, and the like on a bustling and quaint Main Street. The fields and pastures beyond lead to more adventures I will definitely return for!
