Le Marais
Today is all about Le Marais, a small but quaint Parisian neighborhood on the Right Bank. I enjoyed this area because of its charm and relaxed atmosphere unlike the rest of the city. It's a nice spot for picnics or just simply sitting down and enjoying life.
This was taken outside in the gardens of the Carnavalet Musuem. It was formally the home of aristocracy in Paris and now contains history about the French Revolution which I have a particular interest in.
This was just incredible!
The Parisian architecture is most evident throughout this museum.
I loved the chandelier and the golden artwork throughout the room.
More and more beautiful detail.
This staircase looks right out of a movie.
After the Carnavalet Museum, I decided to explore the neighborhood. I started by taking more photos of Parisian architecture and then heading towards Place des Vosges.
Loved the greenery around the square giving shade and character.
There are also many fountains throughout the square.
This place was just adorable!
This is a famous statue dedicated to the Louis XIII in the center of Placè des Vosges.
Loved this little spot.
This is the typical kind of architecture found near Placè des Vosges. Le Marais is definitely a must!
The journey continues...
